I Had a Bad Day...

...and the more I focused on it, the worse it got. It's not worth getting into here, but let's just say that the law of attraction was evident. It's kind of like when you stub your toe getting out of bed and that sets the tone for the rest of the day.

The frustrating thing for me is that when I see this happening, I have trouble changing my focus. The harder I try to think of other things, the more I think about what's wrong. When you believe in the law of attraction, you know that you are attracting more yucky things by giving unpleasant things your attention.

Skeptics and believers in the law alike - how do you get yourself out of a "funk"?

This makes me think of how when I'm running late and start rushing, more things happen to slow me down. I drop things, catch red lights, etc. Sometimes you just have to breathe. If it's a little funk, it usually helps me just to talk about it. Venting is good. If it's something more major, I just need to ride it out a bit and feel whatever it is I need to feel. I find that if I don't stay in it, it will just try to crawl its way back to the surface. So I guess my solutions (in increasing order of funkiness) are breathing, venting, and waiting it out.

You are so into thinking that your thinking magically transforms the world.

Didn't help me with red lights yesterday on Bay Area Boulevard. Who are all these people at 2:23PM? Don't they have jobs?

You see red lights, you get annoyed at them, and the universe brings you more of them. See, it's magic! =)

Funny you should ask that. I am in a similar funk, but it's worse than red lights.

I blame other people.

Postive begets positive. Negative begets negative. Learned that one the hard way. LOL And so along that line...I am deleting a page of mine and focusing solely on my blogspot page. So...I'M BACK!!! :)

I wish I could teach my husband that the more he feels like the world is out to get him, the more it will be. I try to get him to focus on the positive, but it doesn't work very often. I, too, can be quite the pesimist, but I forget quickly.
