multi-"lingual"

i don't know if i am a sole target, but i have been getting the weirdest spam lately. instead of the usual penis extender drugs or porn links, i am getting symbolic spam. for a while, it was written in russian or something similar, but now the emails have been reduced to random symbols.

i fail to see the purpose here. someone may actually be able to read russian, but i don't think most people can find meaning in this gobbledigook. i would respond, asking whoever it is what the heck they're selling, but i know i would be opening a portal to spam hell. and there's no turning back after that.
