temporary sentiments

i was going through my box of stuff that i brought home from my office. i had tons of cards - from patients, co-workers, etc. all of them were very sweet and made me smile. but the thing is...what do i do with them now? i could stick them in a box in my closet and forget about them. i could display them somewhere and get annoyed because of the clutter. i could throw them away and never see them again.

i'm telling you...along with mechanics, college bookstores and insurance companies, card companies have a great racket going on. pay $3-$4 for a nice card that will just get pitched in the trash eventually. you can't reuse them. maybe i am in the wrong business after all.
