i got some good news today! after frequent prodding by me, the licensing board told me that i have been approved and that my license has been printed up and mailed! i am an official LPC (licensed professional counselor)! i have been waiting for this to happen for so long, it seems surreal. now, i have to get some liability insurance and then get the wheels turning for advertising, networking, etc. how exciting!
you know, i am not nervous about this at all. i really feel like i am following God's direction. the Bible says that when God sets you to a task, He gives you the ability to do it as well. in the past, i have been afraid to take risks and think "outside the box." but this time, i really and truly believe that i not only have a beacon, but a safety net as well.
