death is for the dying

i just got finished watching big fish. i usually have a hard time getting into tim burton flicks, but this one had me crying at the end. there are so many fantastic things that happen all around us every day, but we are too busy to see them. or even to take time to make them fantastic.

circle of life aside, the ones who die have the easy part. and i'm not even getting into religion or spiritualty here. no matter what you believe happens after one dies, the dead one comes out better. the ones left are the ones who still feel, hurt and mourn. i guess all we can hope is that we do leave a legacy to help those who linger after us.
