Selective Memory

It's funny how selective memory is. I recently reached out to an old friend, hoping to start up communication again. This is a person I had previously been pretty close to. We went our separate ways years ago basically because of changing life circumstances.

After several attempts to reach out, this person finally responded and reminded me of all of the negative traits that I don't miss. Absolutely no compassion...a narcissist to be sure. But I had forgotten.

See? Life's always throwing lessons at you. Reminding you of why certain people are or aren't in your life. It's always for a reason.

I was going to comment... but then selectively forgot what it was I had a comment on. I think it was something about porn.

Selective memory works a dozen ways, both for good and ill.
