must...prioritize

where, oh where, has february gone? the thing about having a daughter with a march 1 birthday is that it sneaks up on you. you think, "oh, it's not until march," but that really gives you a false sense of security. if you don't start planning by mid-february, you are hosed.

so, between getting the taxes done, making multiple choice tests, and getting sadly behind on my clients' progress notes, i have not ordered a cake, bought plates, a tablecloth or even one single napkin with a care bear on it (this is the theme punkin has decided on). we reserved our spot at build-a-bear months ago, so after that, it was like that's all i had to do. never mind the little kids that are coming over before we go to the mall, bearing gifts (pardon the pun) and expecting sugar.

thank goodness the sun has come out. i think we went a couple of weeks without seeing it, and the grayness was starting to bum me out. hopefully it will stick around as i find time to go shopping for care bear whatnots. it's all about priorities, people!
