i spoke to my friends who are attempting to come back home from dallas. it took them 18 hours to get there last thursday. i am praying that they don't run into the same traffic problems, which have officially been named the "exodus." i wonder when someone will start yelling "anti-semitism." the politicians have come up with a plan to hopefully avoid another "exodus," but it requires that people actually follow the plan for it to work. in our defense, we left to come home before they had come up with anything.
most schools are closed until tuesday at the earliest. some don't re-open until thursday, including the college i teach at. since my classes are on mondays and wednesdays, it looks like i'll lose another 2 days' pay. punkin is just heartbroken that she doesn't have to go to school tomorrow. actually, she might be grateful for something to do real soon. i know i will.
have a nice
