schwing!

sunday dawns with the promise of a new day - what kind of day, i don't know yet. we are in the midst of "computer swinging." i know, i know...people don't usually just come out and say that they're swingers. so sue me.

the captain moved this computer desk and system into the front room, which has had many names in the 9 years we've lived here - the front room, the workout room, the office, the lab. we spent quite a while trying to establish internet access. it's all about cabling properly, people. i shamed myself in light of my 5 year history in computer architecture.

so the next step is getting the new computer table put together (which looks like no easy feat), the computer system installed properly and getting the software and internet on. i have the sexy flat screen monitor and the 3 ghz drive. life in the fast lane, baby! i do dread transferring all of my files from here to there, but i'll just take one step at a time.
