hello? is this thing on?

i think there's something wrong with my email, phone and postal service. i have sent out proposals to do a workshop, created a web site that needs approval and applied for 2 jobs and have heard nothing from the necessary people. i know that my stuff is not necessarily #1 on everyone's list of important things, but it's been a few days! how hard could it be to send me an email telling me you're busy right now, or you hate the web site or you have to ask your boss about the workshop? i suppose i should take my own advice and be the proverbial "squeaky wheel." someone is bound to talk to me, even if it's just to tell me to go away!
