back from the fall

hi, it's me. back from falling off the face of the earth (at least blog-wise). i have been a busy bee this past week. added to my normal schedule was a talk that i gave to 3 psych classes at a local community college about postpartum mood problems. and of course, everyone wanted to hear about andrea yates. in the second class, 3 guys decided that they were going to slam me and started asking the most insane questions about the case - stuff only a lawyer would know. i think i handled it professionally. one guy said that if andrea was in the electric chair, he'd gladly throw the switch. i felt like telling him to go have a baby, have a psychotic break and then get back with me about the switch issue. but i didn't.

i also got 2 new clients this week - finally! i know God answes prayers in His own time, but i still get impatient. the lady i saw today was so tense. we did some progressive muscle relaxation and she turned into jelly. sometimes, clients fall asleep and snore. it's quite funny. but i felt good that she felt better.
