the thing i like most about reading blogs is that i get to fill in the blanks that the authors leave. so...if i am reading a blog by an actor living in los angeles, i can imagine him having a tight pad in the hills, a babe on each arm and seven cars in the garage. or i can imagine some twisted tween sitting in his bedroom, typing false words while his mom's "dinner's ready, timmy!" echoes off his kelly osbourne posters.
how much of what we read is true? and if we want it to be true, does that make it so? if i truly believed that i am wearing a prada suit right now and you came in and told me that the "i heart new york" t-shirt i am wearing is wrinkled, i would look at you like you're a freak. but whose reality would be wrong (and we're not talking about in a court of law here)? maybe you'rethe one hallucinating my t-shirt!*
life is 95% perception and 5% persuasion. if you're mad right now, change your perspective. let go of your anger about the new couch you will have to buy because your new Christmas puppy dismembered it so badly that it looks like a spongebob squarepants beanbag chair. instead, call up ethan allen and tell them to send over their most expensive couch and put it on your card. then, hang up before the store employee can say anything and go take a bath.
*i doubt it. like i can afford a sleeve of a prada suit. plus, i'm the one on zoloft...
