no 30 foot Jesus

i really hate the commercialism of the holidays. i honestly don't care that much about getting presents. it's nice and all, but there's just something else - a certain je ne sais quois that makes me feel warm and generous.

i went out briefly this morning in search of Jesus-themed lawn decorations. the best i could do was a pretty cool 5 ft. tall angel with a horn. you know - hark! the herald angels sing. it was more than a little disappointing that i couldn't find anything else. there were plenty of light-up santas, presents, even trains. but nothing really directly related to Christianity.

i had the "pre-interview" this morning whilst browsing in a store. looks like i am new york city bound on the 15th. it's a cool gig - i get put up in a fancy-schmancy hotel and they're going to "send a car" for me from my house to the airport, from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the studio and back. i wish i could stay longer. kambri said that ballyhoo might be doing a charity comedy thing that night, so that would be awesome. i like comedy. i like kambri. i like alcohol. sounds like a nice night. =)
