Otherwise, life is back to focusing on what we're having for dinner. Hot dogs tonight, I think.

Back to Normal
So, life's back to normal now. The kids go back to school tomorrow (yay!) and I went back to work on Tuesday. Just found out that our lovely insurance guy did not renew our windstorm insurance last year - and that he's left the company now - so we are SOL on any reimbursement for our fence repairs. I hear whisperings that the Homeowners' Association may pay for it since we border a county road, so let's hope that's true.

My computers are acting up, so life is back to normal for me too. Except the insurance adjustor comes out Saturday, then a roofer after that. Gollum.
Hooray for normal! Not quite there yet over here - kids go back to school Monday, but Hubby's work still has no power, and we're battling post-Ike issues with damages and stuff. But at least we have power and cable and food at home! Life is good!
Oh yeah, my desktop died yesterday. Gives me a reason to get another Mac! =)
Yeah, I found out that my flood insurance hadn't been renewed. Luckily, I renewed it prior to Ike. Even more luckily, I didn't need it.
