No sun Sunday. The gods of rain laugh merrily. This is summer? Complaints fly whether it rains or shines...too hot, too humid, too wet, too dry. We are hardwired for grousing.
Short person is sad because her friends are on "vacay." No tropical paradise for us. Perhaps San Antonio, which is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the US apparently. The allure is lost on those who think that anywhere you can drive to is not worth visiting.
I've been thinking of getting another job. I can't even believe I am saying that. We'll see what the Universe has to say to that.

Should I alert Taco Bell, or are you planning an new enterprise in New York City? And if you go there without me tagging along, heck to pay.
This has been a seriously soggy summer. No vacay for us, either - we might head down to Corpus for a weekend in August. Another place within driving distance that is definitely worth visiting, if for nothing else than the beach!
What land do ye live in? We be living in the land of relentless sun, humidity, and clear skies, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, cool swimming pools and occasional fresh breezes.
We have summer. Nyuck, nyuck.
