the good
thegold digger elderly lady in the car that i hit has no injuries and is not planning to sue me, according to the insurance people! maybe the eye-shielding thing actually worked! or maybe she was never as devious as i had assumed to begin with. i was also able to downgrade my rental car to a dodge neon, which meets the required $20/day that the insurance will cover, so i shouldn't have to pay anything but the $10/day rental insurance (hey - after that fiasco, i am not taking any chances!)

I am so glad to see a situation like this: a genuine accident where everything is fair and the insurance comes through. Thank GOD.

Even though I emailed Danelle privately, YES I got a ticket. At least in Texas, you get one automatically if you rear end someone. And NO The Captain was not mad. He was just glad that I wasn't hurt.
Prayer does wonders huh? I'm glad everything is going to work out ok. Painful estimate though...ouch!!!
You really should stop doing these things for attention, however.
