a few of my students are driving me completely nuts. i think i mentioned that i have been maintaining a class blog this semester - it's really just a trial run to see if anyone participates, but i am about to take the dang thing down!
i have one or two students in each class who are super-paranoid about grades. i did sneak an extra credit question into one of my blog posts. out of 35 or so students, 3 read the post and turned in their answers. whatever. i don't care if anybody reads or not (well, let's just say that i don't care a whole lot). so, these few paranoid kids were asking me questions today like, "when do we have to turn in the assignments on the weblog?" "how do you want us to write up the report on the weblog?" grrrrrrrrr. i can't believe how many of them don't even know what a blog is!
i posted today just for those special students who still don't get it. i don't know how i can make myself any clearer. sometimes, i long for the days when they would just stare at me blankly... [NOT!]
