It's interesting that the man you named your dog after would be chatting me up right about now.

Transcendentalism is agreeably akin to Hinduistic beliefs of a universal pan. Goes back to Plato, actually, vs. Aristotle in the whole equation.

Mix in quarks, quantum theory, self-chanting, and you've got yourself a philosophy that makes you believe mind controls everything around ya. :)

Hey, I dunno. Maybe that is the ticket. Power of positive thinking ain't hurting Joel Osteen. ;)

You're so cute when you strew seeds of inspiration.

It's always amazed me how much more stuff in life is "free" when you're rich. Come on, people, they have the money to buy that - give it to someone who doesn't!

I'm as poor as a church mouse yet I have amazing kids and an amazing life without the "success" that is so all important to a lot of people. I am raising considerate children. What is more successful than that? Just my humble opinion...:)

I've noticed the same thing, Angel. Maybe there's something to that theory of "like attracts like."

Kristine, are you saying that you don't need money to raise children - considerate or otherwise?

You make a good point - "rich" doesn't have to only allude to material wealth. Though I suppose most people who read this assume so.
